Welcome to Seoul Lane~ 

I'm Vanessa (she/her), an Australian architect living in Korea. I was working in Japan when I met my Korean husband, and now I'm grateful to be experiencing this beautiful culture every day, and to share it with you.

With architecture degrees from the University of Sydney and the University of Tokyo, and expertise specialising in bespoke private homes, I have more than 20 years' experience designing buildings and interiors.

 

Born and raised on Muwinina land on the continent now called Australia, I acknowledge the sovereignty of the First Nations and call for the implementation of the United Nations Declaration of Rights for Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP)

We're donating 10% of profits to Healing Our Homeland - an initiative run by Palestinian women to support communities in Gaza.

We strive for minimum carbon emissions and zero waste in all our operations, and our packaging materials are re-usable, recyclable and/or biodegradable.

Seoul Lane ceramics are shipped in wooden boxes of a traditional design using Paulownia, a lightweight and fast-growing renewable plantation timber grown here in South Korea.
